Brief: In the duration of 2 seconds, our goal was to create a dimensional and lifelike animation of the Scheels logo for use on broadcast pieces to unite our brand messaging, and could be used across all activities and contexts. The top considerations were to make the brand colors stand out, have the motion graphic be perfectly legible for the full duration, and finally to convey the brand though motion design.
I achieved this through the design with a classic but high-end 3D effect with camera rotation and position keyframes. My overarching goal was to keep the design bold and simple; I tweaked the speed graph to make the motion 'snappy' - conveying strength. The light sweep effect conveys the notion of a premium retailer.
