Dalek 3D Model
I have been experimenting with Adobe Dimension for 3D modeling, and learned how to model and light a Dalek from Dr. Who. It was fun to experiment with different environment lighting, colors, and textures; ultimately landing on this dark and moody vibe, which I enjoy.
After the Dalek was complete, I imported the 3D model into Adobe Aero, scaled it to a real-life size, and assigned behaviors for AR. I recorded and edited the 'exterminate' audio on my iPhone, and assigned the scene to play it on a loop. I also created a rotate behavior that animates the Dalek 90 degrees, back and forth, on a loop. It was fun to think of people using this experience on a mobile device, and pretending to run away from a Dalek! Please do so by clicking the aero link, and let me know how it was.
